What should I bring with me?

You will want to bring a sunhat, natural bug spray, sunscreen, and all your chocolate questions. If you would like to swim in the river, please bring swimwear and a towel.

How do I get to the farm?

You can arrive in your own transport in a high clearance vehicle. 4x4 is not needed. We have taxis based in Medellin that can bring you direct to the farm. There are comfortable buses with aircon that leave the terminal in Medellin just about every hour. If your transport is not a high clearance vehicle, or you arrive via the bus, you can take a moto taxi from town or we can arrange to collect you in our farm truck. Please write for costs and details.

Can I stay overnight?

Yes, we have a beautiful natural luxe cabin for overnight stays. Please visit our Airbnb listing, or ask us for more details on packages that include your stay, farm fresh breakfast, and tour.

Can I visit if I have limited mobility?

Yes! While the standard tour involves walking and hills, we can modify the tour to accommodate your specific needs. If you use a wheelchair, you can visit the factory, and there are some cacao and coffee trees to view from there. Please note, the factory's bathroom is not handicapped accessible, however, we can drive you to one here within the farm.

What kind of lunch is included?

We offer a freshly prepared lunch which generally includes a protein such as farm raised chicken or fish, served in a typical Colombian style. We try to utilize as much home or locally grown ingredients as possible, depending on the season. We are also happy to offer vegetarian and vegan lunch options. If you have special dietary needs, or picky children, please reach out so we can make something everyone enjoys.
