Ceremonial Cacao

100% Pure Medicine

From our heart to yours. Cacao has been shared ceremonially for generations, as a way to gather, connect, reflect and open the heart. We invite you to make it part of your own ritual, whether that means beginning your morning with intention, sharing cacao with people you love, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself.

Our cacao carries with it the land where it was grown, the hands that cared for it, and the traditions that came before us. Prepare it with intention, drink it slowly, and discover what cacao means to you.

What Is Ceremonial Cacao?

A Sacred Plant Medicine Guided by Tradition

Ceremonial cacao is cacao in one of its purest forms, made from the seed of the cacao fruit and shared for generations as food, medicine and ceremony. Our cacao is fermented, sun dried, lightly toasted, dehusked and stone ground into a rich cacao paste, with nothing added and nothing removed.

Unlike cocoa powder, ceremonial cacao retains its natural cacao butter and the full character of the bean. The result is a rich, nourishing cup that invites you to slow down, connect with your intention, and experience cacao as something more than chocolate.

How you choose to work with cacao is personal. For us, it is a connection to the land, to the people and traditions that came before us, and to the spirit of cacao itself.

What Makes Our Cacao So Special?

Sourced with Intention, Crafted with Spirit

Our ceremonial cacaos are carefully selected and hand crafted to help you connect to the spirit of Cacao, connect to source. Each bean carries the energy of the land, cultivated beside other sacred plants and infused with deep spiritual intention.

Grown in low-volcanic soil, our cacao is naturally low in heavy metals and cadmium, making it as pure and safe as it is powerful. The Indigenous believe that their ancestral knowledge lives within these crops—when you sit in ceremony with this cacao, you connect not only to yourself, but also to the spirits of the land and its people.

At Origen Cacao, our relationship withour growers goes beyond fair trade. We engage in mutual exchange: they share with us their sacred traditions, and we empower them with chocolate-making skills—creating a cycle of respect, learning, and sustainable growth for both communities.
